Munib S. Raad, LCSW-R
Founder - Therapist - Clinical Supervisor
We all need spaces in our lives to be seen and heard. There are times, however, when it can be hard to find those spaces of acceptance, non-judgment, and problem solving. I will work with you to explore and find solutions to the challenges that come with navigating the realities of our complicated lives. My approach towards therapy focuses on each person's unique stories, strengths, and resilience, from a space of empathy, encouragement, and concrete tools to move forward.
As a long time New York City therapist in practice over 8 years, I have fostered relationships with top medical institutions in the city, including a vast referral network in the area. These relationships have nurtured my approach to holistic therapy, which are grounded in collaboration and integrative care. I work with folks coping with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, spirituality, identity and more in a warm, and supportive practice. I am committed to diverse communities and enjoy working with clients of all ages, racial backgrounds, sexual orientations and gender identities, with an openness and commitment to goal oriented work.
My practice is rooted in acceptance, empathy, and a willingness to find ways to help you feel more grounded in your life. We all deserve to have our needs met, and that can mean asking for help. I look forward to hearing your story.
